Not because I suddenly felt something special or having a special talent, but my faith in Jesus Christ! There are believers who say: “I must first feel it before doing something for the Lord. I must first feel it before praying for someone…” They forget it’s about faith which comes at the first place. I read in the Bible: “And when Jesus went into Peter’s house, He saw his mother- in- law lying ill with a fever. He touched her hand and the fever left her…” (Mathews 8:14-15). The Lord saw that the woman had fever and He didn’t say: “If I feel something special then I shall heal you.” No, he saw and took action to heal her. The Lord said in John 14:12 : “ I assure you, most solemnly I tell you, if anyone steadfastly believes in Me, he will himself be able to do the things that I do…” As a believer and follower of Jesus Christ, I was also moved on with the person who had fever, and I did the same as my Master, to go to the bed of the sick. The parents agreed that I would pray for the baby and we went upstairs. When I stood next to the bed I prayed in faith for the baby. No, I did not pray long and weighty prayer, but short and simple. God doesn’t look at the length of a prayer. As long as there is nothing wrong with your mouth, you can pray without fuss. The result was that the high fever suddenly disappeared and the baby was healed in the Name of Jesus! The parents were amazed. After the prayer their beloved baby was healthy and lively again! The Lord Jesus did a miracle in this family that never went to a church on Sundays. And so you see again that the Lord so greatly loved the not clerical people and that Divine healing is not only for Christians and religious people. Not long after the miracle, these dear people visit our gatherings. The Lord had done a miracle and they got the urge to go to a Municipality (church). So, that was also good.
